Time for another Halloween treat box! Today it’s a monster mash-up!
Frankie vs. Dracula 🙂
These are made using the Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit. This is one of my favourite dies. It’s so versatile, you can literally make anything you need out of this thing. If you don’t belive me check out all the ideas there are on Pinterest ;).
I figured you guys might be curious how the box comes together (just because it’s so neat 🙂 ) so here’s a video to show you:
Stay tuned for more ghoulish projects!
Today I have a fun Halloween Project. My friends know that I really enjoy celebrating this holiday (and really, who doesn’t love a holiday that’s all about treats 🙂 ).
Today’s project is a box made with the Baker’s Box Thinlit. And I actually have two variations of it:
This makes a great little gift for someone who shares a love of spooky and sweet 🙂
Stay tuned for more thrilling ideas 😉 !
Today I have a super adorable and delicious card to share! Summer may be over but that doesn’t mean we can’t still indulge a little 🙂
I used what is probably my favourite stamp set, Sprinkles of Life. I just love it!
As I was stamping the ice cream scoops I thought it would be cool if I put a funny sentiment on it. So I took out my old typewriter (if you have one somewhere in your grandad’s attic bring it out, you’ll be amazed what you can do with it, once you clean the cobwebs away of course 🙂 ), typed the text and then cut it up and glued it on the cardfront. I also used the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder for the background (guilty!, I use it on everything).
Hope you like it and give it a try. It’s a great card to give to that special someone 😉
When it comes to papercrafting, the things that I probably make the most often are cards. I’m just old fashioned that way I guess, but I still like to send/give cards to celebrate those special moments in people’s lives (I’m one of those people who would still be writing letters if that was still feasible these days :)). But I digress 🙂
Some of my favourite cards to make are “new home” cards. I think we can all agree that getting a place of your own is a pretty big deal.
So here is one I made that’s in the chalkboard style I really love:
I used two really cute house stamps (stamped in White Craft Ink on black) and I also sponged some of the ink on the black cardstock to give it a realistic chalkboard look. I hand-lettered the “Home Sweet Home” with a White Gel Pen (Sakura). I really love hand-lettering so you will be seeing it from time to time in my projects.
This one is really cute as well. I used the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder (love that thing!) for a fun background. I stamped and die cut one of the houses and watercoloured it to give it a soft look. I stamped a sentiment on a little banner and added a super cute little key I found in one of my embellishment containers which I tied with some black and white twine.
Hope you like them :). Have a super creative week ahead!
